At Carstens Ranch, we embrace nose-to-tail farming, honoring the entire animal. We utilize every part, including the hides and pelts, which we tan using natural methods whenever possible. Instead of harsh chemicals, we prioritize natural options like oak bark from our own trees and even egg yolks. We never raise animals solely for their hides. Our hides and taxidermy pieces are crafted from what would be considered 'byproducts' and discarded by most commercial farms, ensuring that nothing goes to waste.
